Letter From Membership Vice President

Thank you for expressing interest in Alpha Xi Delta and Greek Life at the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire!

My name is Whitney and I am the current Membership Vice President for the Epsilon Alpha Chapter of Alpha Xi Delta.  My experience in Alpha Xi Delta has been life changing - I not only learned an appreciate for who I already am but gained an appreciation for the woman I can become. 

Being a Sister of Alpha Xi Delta is incredibly positive and empowering, as it gives you the opportunity to learn and grow, make lifelong friends, and find your home - Not just for four years, but for life.  This sisterhood doesn't end when your collegiate career does, rather it carries with you through graduation, jobs, marriage, and family.  It truly is a gift.  

Going through the recruitment process and finding my home in Alpha Xi Delta has truly been one of the best decisions I have made during my time at UWEC.  

Alpha Xi Delta is dedicated to encouraging every Sister to realize her potential as when our Sisters shine, so do we.  Alpha Xi Delta has four core values - academics, leadership, philanthropy, and sisterhood.  As students, we are all dedicated to our studies in a variety of areas.  School comes first.  Our sisters are also encouraged to participate in other organizations on campus to fuel their passions.    Additionally, we push each other to take on leadership roles both in and out of Alpha Xi Delta.  

Philanthropically Alpha Xi Delta strives to engage and benefit our community, choosing to focus on the eradication of food insecurity.  Alpha Xi Delta, through its association with the Kindly Hearts Campaign, has partnered with Feed My People, a local food bank, to raise awareness about food insecurity in our community along with raising funds and gathering product to assist families in need.  We host a 24-hour Teeter-Totter-A-Thon to benefit and support our philanthropic goals.  

Alpha Xi Delta is more than just a club.  Alpha Xi Delta a supportive, empowering organization full of women dedicated to academics, service, and sisterhood. We encourage each other the be the best version of ourselves. I am so proud to be an Alpha Xi Delta!
